Tirzepatide is a ground-breaking new medication originally indicated for the treatment of diabetes. A new study in the NEJM shows its efficacy for treating weight loss. In the phase 3, double blind, randomized clinical trial, roughly 2500 adults were assigned in equal numbers to 3 doses of the drug and a placebo. The key points?
